Microsoft In Denial About PC Games Dying, Releases Gaming Keyboard And Mouse

They say PC gaming is dying, but Microsoft would like to think otherwise.  They’ve just released a new keyboard they call the Sidewinder X6 and the Sidewinder X5 mouse.  Black and robotic-looking with red lighting, the keyboard looks weird and geeky to me, but that’s good in a way.  At least it’s going for a certain look, and that gives it some personality.

The design and layout isn’t that bad, the number pad can be attached on the left or the right, and it has dials for volume and lighting.  Yes, it is backlit… something I think is a fairly valuable feature, as most of the Homo Sapiens Geeks tend to hang out in dimly lit basements or secluded rooms away from the burning reality of daytime.  The keyboard and mouse will cost a reasonable $80 and $60 respectively, not bad as far as keyboards and mice go these days.
